Darron Ash is Chief Administrative Officer for Sammons Corporation, overseeing the communications, facilities, community relations, and general administration aspects of the organization, as well as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sammons Enterprises, Inc. As CFO, he orchestrates the performance management process with the leadership of the subsidiary companies as well as leads the treasury, tax and financial areas. He is also an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee of Sammons Enterprises.

Darron joined Sammons with more than fifteen years of financial experience by serving in positions in public accounting, private equity investments, consumer products manufacturing and professional services. He began his career with Arthur Andersen in Dallas. After five years in public accounting he was recruited by an audit client, The Morningstar Group, a Dallas-based, publicly traded food manufacturing and distribution company. Following the sale of Morningstar in 1997, Darron served as CFO of Southwest Sports Group, a personal investment portfolio that included investments in real estate, media and professional sports teams.

In 1999, Darron accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer with HM Capital Partners LLC, (formerly Hicks Muse, Tate & Furst) where he remained for seven years.

In June 2006, Darron joined Sammons as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Darron earned a Bachelor's of Science degree from Texas A&M University and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Texas in Austin.

Darron lives in Coppell, Texas with his wife, Jill, and their four children.
